Kut Kwick Corporation: About Us

For over 75 years, Kut Kwick Corporation remains a leader in the pioneering of innovative mower designs. As such, we have created many of the concepts that are used by the mower industry today.

In 1942, the Kut Kwick Tool Company made its industrial debut. Initially, we designed and manufactured the "Pulp Saw". Quickly, the Pulp Saw established a reputation for dependable performance and low operational costs. Consequently, it practically replaced the cross-cut saw in the Southern Pine forestry business.

In the late 1940’s, we converted Pulp Saws into what would eventually become the industry’s first consumer and commercial rotary mowers. We replaced the 36” saw blade of the Pulp Saw with a double-edged blade. Also, we added a cutter deck, thereby transforming the “Pulp Saw” into the first known “out-front” rotary mower.

1970s - 1st 82" wide cut hydraulically driven skid steered out front rotary mower. 15' wide, detachable, towed, wide-cut mowing deck.

1980s - 1st hydraulically driven skid steered commercial slope mower for mowing slopes up to 40°.

1990s - 1st hydraulically powered out front mowing tractor for clearing forrested areas.

2000s - Developed and patented the BrushMaster® mower for clearing forested areas and fighting forest fires.

2020s - Developed Komfort Kontrols technology, adding electronic, joystick controlled steering across all Kut Kwick models.

Today, Kut Kwick produces slope mowers for sale to fit the specific needs of cities, states, the federal government and large commercial users. We specialize in hillside mowers to mow steep slopes on roadways, retention ponds, dams and anywhere else it is too dangerous for conventional mowing equipment. Kut Kwick also produces the most efficient machines for clearing forest land and rough terrain, especially in the Wildland Urban Interface.

Not only do we equip every steep slope mower that we manufacture with the best parts and materials available, but we also build our best slope mower machines with American craftsmanship, by American workers, with American pride!

We warehouse all warranty and replacement parts at our factory in Brunswick, GA. This results in swift turn-around times for any slope mowing equipment you need. When you MUST have your machine back on that hillside immediately, we've got you covered.
